Any particular reason why you don't save selections in Channels? I think that would make things a lot easier in case you have to go back and re-colour something. It means you wouldn't have to keep re-lasso-ing.
Ya don't have to relasso with flats. You put yer flats on a seperate layer or channel. Then you just use the magic wand to grab the area you're gonna color. Do alla yer coloring on a seperate layer or in the RGB/CMYK channel. If you need to fix something later, you just go back to yer flats layer/channel, grab the problem area with the wand, then go back and recolor.
Hehe, it's easy to get a super-secret stash. Just send em a polite note asking for some hi rez files. I've found that 99% of the pencillers and inkers here on DA have no problem sending you artwork when ya ask em nicely. Even the extremely busy guys.
In all the time I've spent flatting, I'd never once considered how much friggin' easier my life would have been if I'd just separated each section with a line! I'd been lassoing each shape all this time. *head-desk* You've just made my job MUCH simpler, thanks!
