Artist's Comments

This was an extremely quick commission. My buddy Joe :iconkarkarodon: asked me if I could color this up quick, so I said sure thing.

This is for a burlesque troupe in NY that Joe helps out with (Hotsy Totsy Burlesque). The girl is one of their performers, Cherry Pitz.

Joe said this was gonna be used for postcards and possibly t-shirt. The background is made of lame simply because Joe's got an image that it's being superimposed on. Since Joe's handy with Photoshop, I placed what little bit of reflective lights there are on a seperate layer which would allow him to adjust em to match up with various backgrounds.

So...um yeah...that's all.

great coloring!!!!
:iconkarkarodon:
It is great coloring! I mean, seriously, when does this Mudcat not do a brilliant job with his magic markers? But let's not forget the line art by Dan Panosian, another old friend of mine, who helped me out real quick by drawing it. How many of you are old enough to remember Anvil Enterprises from the back of Dragon Magazine? Dan was the man.

I love my friends. Well, not LOVE... you know, extremely like. Well, not LIKE... you know, tolerate.

Aw, Shucks! Thanks Joe! Mudcat rocked it!

BTW, if it wasn't for Joe - I probably wouldn't have a career! I owe this man more than a drawing or two! Not to mention, he's a helluva wonderful guy!

Thank ya sir! I had fun with it. Image is a bit small though, so ya can't really see the textures on the shark. Not that that big ole watermark is making it any easier =D

"Been reading your journals too!"

I feel for ya =D

Oh Mudcat, you jumped the shark! Tsk...

Heheh..
