Stuff that got me giggling this morning...

Regarding July 4th: [link] I knew I wouldn't be disappointed!

I love getting asked what my page rates are. When I reply, I never hear back. That always makes me giggle for some reason. At least they don't try to talk me down on my price anymore (not that I'm that expensive to begin with).

Reading the comments on =Bakanekonei's deviations this morning were good for a laugh. She seems to attract a few nutjobs. You know the types, the people that suffer from too much Oprah and Dr. Phil. The ones that always seem to find something to be offended by (probably all part of the Mature Tag Police). They read way too much into a piece of art and get offended by it. Hello...it's comic book style cheesecake pinups. How could you possibly read more into it than that? I wish I had some internet loons posting on my art. It'd keep me laughing.

True story: OJ Simpson was originally cast as the terminator in the first Terminator movie. Movie execs later decided against it. They thought the public couldn't accept such a nice guy in the role of a rampaging murdering villain. Oh, sweet irony. How you make me laugh.

People needs to seriously lighten the fuck up. I mean..come on...yeah..that was in Al and Nei's mind to piss off a bunch of the America public on the 4th weekend...by showing us a beautiful piece of art. Geez.

I just tell em what I'm currently getting. They need to at least match that if they want me to drop a book to squeeze them in. Can't really see the benefit of doing something else that's going to take just as long for less pay =D
