Boy, I'm spammin the hell outta my journal today =D

After a ton of internal debate and so many positive things said about the last batch of pages I've posted here and on other sites, I decided to bite the bullet. I sent a submission package to a major publisher. I'd originally wanted to hold off for another 6 months so I could keep improving, but I'd just had too many good things said lately, from both mainstream pros and amateurs, for me to not take the chance. I doubt I'll get any work from it, but at least I tried. And if nothing else, I can submit more stuff later on down the line. I still plan on working with Zenescope as much as I can, but I just had to see what would happen.

That's my motto about it as well. Just had to get over those self confidence issues and just send it. If nothing else, maybe I can get my first rejection letter =D

Thanks man. I'm not gonna hold my breath on it, but at least it helps me get over my fear of submitting to Marvel, DC, or Dark Horse.

for awhile people kept saying i would be at marvel soon, and i thought i wasn't near good enough for marvel yet....but now i dont think that's true.

Yup, good for you, can't hurt at all..... unless you get into the canuck sauce like Randy ;p and in that case.... you won't feel a thing :)
