I really wish I was making this up...
So I was sitting here working last night and I was really wanting to get 1 more page done before going to bed because it woulda left me with a 3 day weekend. It was getting close to midnight, but I didn't care. I just really wanted to get that page done. So I start on the page. I get the background on 1 panel colored, and then I hear a little commotion outside in the front yard. That's when it hits me.
It was a skunk.
To make it worse, the little AC window unit by my desk is blowing the smell straight into my face. I tried to stomach it as best as I could, but about 2 minutes later I'm bailing out of the room and trying to get some fresh air. The smell of skunk usually doesn't bother me too much. Sure it stinks, but it's never really lingered for a long time. Last night though, my lord. The smell was strong and it stuck around forever. I thought maybe Mama Cat had scrapped with the skunk and that's why it sprayed, but it wasn't her. Guessin some other varmint spooked it.
Off to finish this page...
